Deutsch: Gewundene, sich hangabwärts schlängelnde Rillen mit steilen Hängen, flachen Böden und ohne erhabenen Rand treten häufig an den Flanken der großen Schildvulkane auf dem Mars auf. Durch sie ist wahrscheinlich, ausgehend von Einsturzstrukturen, kontinuierlich dünnflüssige Lava geflossen, die in einen mechanisch schwachen Untergrund diese schmalen Kanäle und Verebnungen erodierte.
