Description
Deutsch: Übersicht der Eisenbahn Epochen nach den Normen Europäischer Modellbahnen (NEM) Nummer 800 mit Stand 2007. Die Epochen sind auf der zeitlichen Achse in den Proportionen korrekt wiedergegeben. Gut sichtbar die zeitlich überlange Epoche I, die wiederholt unter den Hobby Modelleisenbahner und Eisenbahner zu Diskussionen bezüglich einer allfälligen Epoche 0 führt, da die Epoche I die gesamte Entwicklung der Eisenbahngeschichte von der filigranen Dampflokomotive bis zur leistungsfähigen Elektrolokomotive für hochgespannten Wechselstrom wiedergibt.

Eisenbahn Epochen-Übersicht nach den Normen Europäischer Modellbahnen (NEM), Stand 2007, 2020:

  • Epoche I: Bis etwa 1925
  • Epoche II: Von etwa 1920 bis etwa 1950
  • Epoche III: Von etwa 1945 bis etwa 1970
  • Epoche IV: Von etwa 1965 bis etwa 1990
  • Epoche V: Von etwa 1985 bis etwa 2010
  • Epoche VI: Ab etwa 2005
Die Markierung des Jahres 1956 wiederspiegelt den Zeitpunk der Klassenreform.
