Description Exposición «Literaturas del Exilio», en el Centro Cultural Palacio de la Moneda, Santiago de Chile (junio-julio de 2007). Con el fin de la guerra civil española llegaron a Chile miles de españoles perseguidos por la dictadura de Franco y desterrados de su país. Muchos de ellos vinieron en el Winnipeg que desembarcó en Valparaíso en el año 1939. Ahora, varias décadas después, se exhibe una muestra con documentos, objetos, fotografías, pinturas, libros, etc. que está dedicada al exilio español republicano. Ojalá el rescate de esta memoria sirviera para que reflexionáramos sobre cómo hoy en día acogemos a otros pueblos, tal vez nos daría vergüenza enfrentar el hecho de que somos discriminadores y cerrados con peruanos, bolivianos, argentinos y tantos otros. Chile fue, en algún momento de su historia, un país solidario.
