Description
Español: El lago Poopó, fue el segundo más grande de Bolivia después del Titicaca. Este lago, ubicado en el altiplano del departamento de Oruro, que colinda con Chile, ha quedado reducidos a pequeños humedales –"charcos" dirían algunos. Implica la destrucción de todo un ecosistema, la pérdida de centenares de especies de fauna y flora, la desaparición de culturas por el éxodo de las comunidades que subsistían del lago y la falta de acciones efectivas para enfrentar la sequía.
