Description
English: Vista parcial de El mar, mural de Sara Fratini del año 2016 en el muro exterior de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Málaga, en El Ejido, a la altura del número 1 de la calle Padre Mondéjar, Málaga, España. Se trata de un mural realizado en colaboración con estudiantes de la universidad, refugiados residentes en Málaga e integrantes de varias oenegés, coordinados por la ilustradora. En palabras de la autora: «He elegido el tema de las personas en el mar por destacar como ha cambiado el papel del Mediterráneo, que ha pasado de ser un mar alegre y fructífero que unía a las culturas de las dos orillas, a ser un lugar triste y luctuoso que separa a los seres humanos que habitan en sus orillas». En el mural se recrean personajes de diferentes culturas, distinto sexo, edad y características físicas, mirando la ciudad de Málaga desde la colina de El Ejido y rodeadas por el agua del mar. La composición trata de visualizar la necesidad de acogida y solidaridad hacia las personas refugiadas. La obra fue realizada con pinceles y pintura plástica, con líneas negras sobre fondo blanco y con un estilo sencillo y sintético. [1]
