Rückseite: SANCT DEO SOLI // ELAGABAL. Das Viergespann (quadriga) mit dem Stein des Baal (baitylos) von Emesa und vier Schirmen.

Kommentar: Varius Avitus Bassianus, geb. 203 n. Chr., (als Kaiser Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus) war vor seiner Aurufung zum Kaiser Priester des Gottes Elagabal in Emesa, der in Gestalt eines Kultsteines verehrt wurde. Im Spätsommer 219 n. Chr. traf der neue Kaiser aus Syrien in Begleitung des Kultwagens mit dem Heiligen Stein in Rom ein. Seit 220 n. Chr. betrieb der Kaiser dann eine intensive Förderung seines Gottes, der dem römischen Sol angeglichen und zum obersten Staatsgott erklärt wurde.
