Summary edit

Description
English: SHOOTING ROAD SIGNS is dangerous and destructive. When driving on Mormon Emigrant Trail (aka Iron Mountain Road), you will notice that a lot of roads signs have been shot up. Unfortunately, repairing and replacing these road signs comes at tax payers expense. “Shooting road signs for target practice, or as an act of criminal mischief, is dangerous and without regard for the safety of other forest visitors," said Eldorado National Forest Patrol Captain Francisco Aguilar. "These actions disregard human life, especially when there are plenty of places for safe recreational target shooting.” If you witness this type of activity and obtain a license plate number or other identifiable information, please report it to the Eldorado National Forest Headquarters at (530) 622-5061. Never confront forest visitors involved in criminal activity.
