Description Lot 8016-3: Mrs. Roosevelt Represents President At Services For Secretary Knox. High ranking civilian officials were present as Secretary of the Navy Knox was buried in Arlington National Cemetery May 1, 1944, with full military honors. Mrs. Franklin D. Roosevelt represented the President at the services. She was accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. Anna Boettiger, and the President’s naval aide, Rear Admiral Wilson Brown, USN. At the left is Vice President Henry A. Wallace and directly behind Mrs. Roosevelt are Secretary of State Cordell Hull and Mrs. Hull.
