Description
English: Electrical wiring for a lamp in a 110V network. The lamp is lighting a former stamp-mill now preserved as a workshop. The originally blank wires were insulated by sleeves of tar-soaked cotton and later on plastic-coated. They are kept apart from the wooden framework by doughnut insulators. The devices belong to ‘Tobias trip-hammer’ at Ohrdruf Industrial Hamlet, Thuringia.
Deutsch: Stromzuführung für eine Lampe in einem 100-Volt-Netz. Die Lampe beleuchtet eine Werkstatt, die in einem Pochwerk für verunreinigtes Kupfer eingerichtet wurde. Die früher blank verlegten Drähte wurden später ummantelt, zuerst mit teergetränkter Baumwolle und dann mit Kunststoff. Die Anlage ist Teil des Tobiashammers in Ohrdruf, Thüringen.
