English: Elenydd Hill Farmland, Ceredigion The present day Elenydd is shared (mainly) between forestry, hill farms (with grazing sheep and cattle) and rough moorland, also grazed by sheep. Many ruins of former smallholdings and their field borders remain, originating from the last several hundred years. The deep valleys and rolling uplands are sparsely populated, and make excellent walking terrain for nature and outdoor enthusiasts. |
