English: Skull of Elginia mirabilis, a pareiasaur (parareptile) from the Late Permian of Scotland (Elgin sandstones). Original description: PLATE 38. Elginia mirabilis. [...] Skull seen directly from above. The portion represented without ornament is wanting in the original, and has been restored from the opposite side.
Deutsch: Schädel von Elginia mirabilis, einem Parasaurier (Parareptil) aus dem Oberperm von Schottland (Elgin-Sandsteine). Ursprüngliche Beschreibung: Tafel 38. Elginia mirabilis. [...] Schädel senkrecht von oben gesehen. Der Bereich ohne Ornamentierung fehlt im Original und wurde von der gegenüberliegenden Seite rekonstruiert.
