Description
English: 17th &18th century Routledge gravestones commonly show a shield bearing a semblance of a chevron between a garb (sheaf of wheat), a sprig of willow, and, in chief, a sword featuring an "Irish" basket hilt. The fleur de lis in base, is a family-specific symbol.
