Description
English: The Joseph Ellicott Complex is a 38-building mega-structure consisting of residence halls, dining facilities, academic departments, administrative offices, and classrooms. It was designed to house over three thousand students in the British university style, where six 'quads' ( Fargo, Porter, Red Jacket, Richmond, Spaulding, and Wilkeson) would each focus on a subject matter and include faculty as residents, tied to each other by an academic and service core ( Millard Fillmore Academic Center). This system has since been abandoned and other offices have relocated to Ellicott as space demands necessitated. Ellicott is notorious for its serpentine corridors and overall mirror-like similarity.
