| Description |
English: In the 1970s and '80s, Buffalo - and the Elmwood Village in particular - was nationally known as a hotspot for neon art. Most of the installations along the strip have since been removed, victims of building renovations that have come with the overall gentrification of the neighborhood. The one on the north side of the building at 1086-1088 Elmwood Avenue, seen here at left, is the sole remnant. The moons light up in sequence from left to right. |
