Summary edit
DescriptionEly Building, Kelso, Wa.jpg |
English: Postcard of the Ely Building, built in 1908 by Kelso postmaster W.P. Ely at the Northwest corner of 2nd and Oak Streets. Kelso's post office for a time was located in the building (the storefront on the left) as well as another of Ely's interests, the Kelsonian newspaper, of which he was publisher. This building and most of Kelso's original downtown were razed in the 1960s for a modern shopping complex, this is now the site of the current city hall building. |
