Deutsch: Der Emigrantestein bei Eckersdorf, Landkreis Bayreuth, ist ein natürlicher Sandsteinblock aus dem Schwarzen Jura (Lias alpha-1 & alpha-2 [1]). Die Inschrift (s.u.) von 1796 erinnert an französische Auswanderer, die hier eine neue Heimat fanden. Er ist unter der Nummer 472R031 im Geotopkataster Bayern und als D-4-72-131-14 in der Bayerischen Denkmalliste als Baudenkmal aufgeführt. English: The Emigrantenstein (emigrant stone) near Eckersdorf, Landkreis Bayreuth, Bavaria, Germany, is a sandstone block of the Black Jurassic. The inscription (see below) remembers French emigrants that found a new home in the region. It is listed in the geotope cadastre of Bavaria (#472R031) and an official Baudenkmal (architectural monument, #D-4-72-131-14).
