A) La inmunorreactividad desyodasa tipo 3 (D3), identificada por depósitos de granos de plata, aparece principalmente en varicosidades axónicas que contienen vesículas centrales densas de 80 a 120 nm de diámetro en la zona superior externa de la eminencia media, característica de los axones de las neuronas parvocelulares (PC). Se pudieron observar pocos granos de plata o ninguno en asociación con orgánulos de neuronas magnocelulares (MC) o tanicitos (Tc), respectivamente. Barra de escala: 1 µm.
