Español: Figura 7. Inmunorreactividad de MCT8 en el hipotálamo mediobasal de roedor.

A) La fotografía de bajo aumento ilustra la presencia de inmunorreactividad de MCT8 asociada con tanicitos.
B) En la eminencia mediana, se observa una fuerte inmunorreactividad de MCT8 en los procesos de tanicitos ( flechas ). C ) Además de ocurrir en los procesos de tanicitos (flechas), la inmunorreactividad de MCT8 también se observa en pequeñas estructuras en forma de puntos que recuerdan a las varicosidades de los axones (puntas de flecha).
