20160515_064421 English: This years Ende Galeande not just shut down the mine, railroad transport and Schwarze Pumpe electrical power plant but also broke records in number of activists taking part in its action over 3500 and generated global attention for Climate Justice.
Deutsch: Ende Gelände 2016 war eine Großaktion zivilen Ungehorsams im Lausitzer Braunkohlerevier für den Klimaschutz. Von Freitag, dem 13. Mai bis Sonntag, den 15. Mai blockierten 3500 bis 4000 Menschen mit Mitteln des zivilen Ungehorsams den Betrieb des Tagebaus und des Kraftwerks schwarze Pumpe. In der Folge musste das Kraftwerk auf 20 % seiner Leistung gedrosselt werden. |
