English: Elizabeth I English Sixpence from 1571. Diameter: 1 inch. Both sides are of the same coin. On the head side is written "ELIZABET D G ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA" which translates from Latin as "Elizabeth by the grace of God Queen of England France and Ireland". On the reverse is written "POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM MEV" which translates as "I have made God my helper".
