PHILIPPINE SEA (March 8, 2018) Ensign Nancy Smith uses the bridge-to-bridge radio aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65) to speak with a marine patrol craft during Multisail 18. Multisail is a bilateral training exercise improving interoperability between the U.S. and Japanese forces. This exercise benefits from realistic, shared training enhancing our ability to work together to confront any contingency.
