Description
English: This is a photo of the blocked up entrance to the Aberdare tunnel which was the old railway link to Merthyr Tydfil This tunnel is the second longest tunnel in s.wales ,its 1 mile 770 yards long the tunnel was closed in 1962 The large steel gates were fited to stop people walking through it for safety reasons .The entrance can be found on the old rail line in cwmbach Aberdare
