| Description |
English: Entrance to Aberystwyth harbour Taken from midway on the main jetty, this picture looks across to the bar made of rocks piled up to extend the mouth of the Afon Rheidol and form an artificial confluence with the Afon Ystwyth just at the harbour entrance. On the right are a couple of berths for slightly larger boats visiting very occasionally. Boats operating sport fishing and wildlife spotting tours depart from the harbour wall at the centre. The marina lies in the background, a little upstream on the Rheidol. The nearest building on the sea wall is the inshore rescue boat station. |
