Description
English: Entrance to Badger Hill water service reservoir, Dewsbury Road B6114, Rastrick The small building is a pumping station, which unusually works as a turbine (no electricity required), using excess pressure in the water entering the reservoir to pump a small flow to a high pressure for delivery to zones further up the Calder Valley. To its right is one of the two remaining parts of a field called Six Days Work.
