English: Entrance to Braunston & Willoughby railway station Looking northwest across the A45 road at the bluebrick abutment of the now-dismantled steel bridge which carried the ex-Great Central Railway line over the road. The passenger entrance to Braunston & Willoughby station was in the 'alcove' at centre-right of this photo. A covered wooden stairway led up to the booking hall and the single island platform which extended south of the bridge. The station closed to passengers in the late 1950s and the ex Great Central Railway line closed in 1966.
