English: Entrance to Millbank Wood Two years ago when I was last up here the gateposts held a gate with a big sign warning those about to step on private land. The gate and sign have now gone and the track through the wood open to the public along with a lot of other land on the Stanmer Estate. Behind the photographer is a junction of bridleways one containing the route from Stanmer to Ditchling Beacon the other a continuation of this route towards Highpark Corner. |
