Summary edit

Description
English: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers environmental science professionals, temporarily assigned in Puerto Rico to evaluate compliance with environmental regulations, inspect sites where power restoration work is underway to assess conditions and make recommendations. Safe access routes, electricity, drinking water, and sanitation are all essential in the aftermath of a disaster. Less instinctual, yet every bit as essential to long-term recovery, is minimizing damage to wildlife and natural resources during the restoration of critical infrastructure.
