Description
Deutsch: Denkmal auf dem Friedhof in Epfenbach (Baden) für die Teilnehmer am deutsch-französischen Krieg von 1870/71, insbesondere für den am 15. Januar 1871 gefallenen Soldaten Adam Treibel vom großherzoglich badischen 2. Grenadier-Regiment „König von Preußen“.

Der oben auf dem Obelisk angebrachte Reichsadler des Deutschen Reiches weist auf die während jenes Krieges errungene Deutsche Einheit hin.

Die Inschrift auf dem Sockel lautet: Ihren tapfern Kriegern widmet zur Erinnerung an die glorreichen Siege von 1870 - 71 dieses Denkmal die dankbare Gemeinde Epfenbach 1875.
