The largepercentage of cases of stomach and intestinal cancerenforces recognition of improper eating as one of thecauses of the disease. Some eminent authorities haveobserved that vegetarianism is strongly favorable toimmunity from cancer. It is known that smoking is adirect cause of cancer of the lips or tongue — anotherargument for correct living. These are some of the things known about cancer.They are worth heeding by every one; for upon theeighty-five thousand people who will die in America thisyear of this disease, the selection will fall — who knowswhere ?
