English: Erewash Valley. Compare this view from the Nottingham Canal Nature Reserve car park with 809835 which was taken from a little further south in May 2008. The River Erewash flows behind the large white factory on the left, in the next square west, and forms the boundary between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. This valley forms a green swathe through the extended Nottingham and Derby conurbations. The hills in the distance are in Derbyshire. |
