Deutsch: Erlangen. Das 5. Mai 1875 enthüllte Bronze-Denkmal für Jakob Herz auf dem damaligen Holzmarkt (heute Hugenottenplatz), Bildhauer: Caspar von Zumbusch, Guss: Christoph Lenz. Am 15. September 1933 wurde das erste Denkmal für einen Juden in Bayern entfernt und zerstört. Seit 5. Mai 1983 erinnert die Jakob-Herz-Stele in der Krankenhausstraße an den Chirurgen. Seit 15. September 2000 erinnert eine Gedenktafel an den ehemaligen Standort des Herz-Denkmals. |
