Description
English: Eros holding the (lost) shield of his mother Aphrodite. Roman copy of the Imperial era after a Greek bronze original of the Late Classical period. End of the nose, mouth, chin, both arms, plinth, left leg, part of the right leg and of the wings are modern restorations.
Français : Éros tenant le bouclier (disparu) de sa mère. Copie romaine de l'époque impériale d'après un original en bronze du second classicisme. Le bout du nez, la bouche, le menton, les deux bras, la jambe gauche, une partie de la droite et des ailes sont des restaurations modernes.
