English: Erratic Was this stone carried here by glaciers in the last ice age and left when the ice melted? The limestone base of the moor has been eroded and pavement is visible behind on the way down to Darnbrook House. It's hard to believe it wasn't placed here deliberately as it lines up with the plantation to the north. |
