Deutsch: Ertl Emil * 11.3.1860 Wien 7, Zieglergasse 33, + 8.5.1935 Graz. Schriftsteller. Er gilt als Dichter des bodenständigen Handwerks und veranschaulichte in seinen Werken das Leben des Bürgertums. Anfänglich standen Märchen, deren Inhalt jugendlicher, schwärmerischer Weltfremdheit waren. Später folgten Erzählungen und Romane, gefärbt von lebensnaher, österreichischer Heimatkunde u.a. “Im Haus zum Seidenbaum“.
English: Ertl Emil * 03.11.1860 Vienna 7, Zieglergasse 33, + 05.08.1935 Graz. Writers. He is regarded as a poet of indigenous crafts and illustrated in his works the lives of the middle class. Initially focused tale whose contents youthful, enthusiastic naivety were. Later was followed by short stories and novels, colored by lifelike, Austrian History "In the house of silk tree."
