Español: El contorno es el clásico escudo de armas español. Va timbrado con la corona real.El escudo lleva cinco cuarteles: Cuartelado y ecusón. Cuartel 1.º (Superior izquierda según se mira ): Un águila, sobre campo de azur, el ave alude a Aguilar de Tera y el azur al cielo. Cuartel 2.º (Superior derecha): Una encina enraizada en campo de oro.La encina alude a la devoción de la Virgen de las Encinas, Santuario de Abraveses de Tera. Cuartel 3.º (Inferior izquierda según se mira): Sobre campo de sinople un ciervo, representada de manera pasante. El ciervo es uno de los atributos propios de San Mamés, advocación principal de Micereces. El Sinople alude al color verde de la vega del Tera. Cuartel 4.º (Inferior derecha ): Una venera de plata sobre tres fajas rojas, sobre campo de oro. Las bandas y las conchas son el emblema de los Pimentel, Condes de Benavente, a cuyo condado pertenecía Aguilar, Micereces y Abraveses. Pero la Concha aquí tiene también otra acepción: La jacobea, al encontrarse las poblaciones en la Ruta Jacobea del Valle del Tera. Cuartel 5.º (Escusón, en el centro, por ser la pieza fundamental, común a las tres localidades): En campo de plata, tres fajas ondeadas de azur, en alusión al Río Tera
