Description

Escudo en metal de las Milicias Universitarias. El que se describe en el artículo si es el del SEU. Motivo: Cisne y dámero, emblemas del cardenal Cisneros. Yugo y Flechas al fondo. Metal y esmalte, tiene dos pins en la parte posterior. Este escudo se prendía en la camisa. España, años 1950 o 1940. Curiosamente, el escudo del Frente de Juventudes estaba descrito en un libro de Formación del Espíritu Nacional de 1955 como con un tablero a cuadrados rojos y negros, no blancos y azules, como aparecen en el escudo. ¿Alguien puede desarrollar este punto?. En este libro no se habla nada de las dos espadas cruzadas. Una persona que vivió esta época me ha dicho que en los años 1950 se retiraron las dos espadas cruzadas del emblema. ¿Alguien puede completar esta información?. Nota complementaria (12.6.2007) - Este escudo no es propiamente del Frente de Juventudes sino de la Instrucción Premilitar Superior (IPS) más conocido como "milicias universitarias" y que después fue reglamentario en IMEC (Instrucción Militar de la Escala de Complemento) que siguió manteniendo el apelativo popular de "milicias". De este escudo forma parte ideológica y gráficamente el de Juventudes y el del SEU, por obvia asociación, ya que tanto IPS como IMEC constituían un servicio militar como oficiales y suboficiales de complemento de los licenciados y diplomados universitarios que accedían (voluntariamente) a estas unidades militares de formación de cuadros. EL EMBLEMA DEL FRENTE DE JUVENTUDES El emblema del Frente de Juventudes está formado por un cisne blanco con alas abiertas, el yugo y las flechas y un tablero ajedrezado en rojo y negro. El cisne es la figura principal, nos recuerda al Cardenal Cisneros y simboliza pureza e imperio cultural; el yugo y las flechas representan el ideal falangista de unidad y servicio a la Patria, y el tablero ajedrezado en rojo y negro nos recuerdan la constante preocupación por llevar a cabo la Revolución Nacional-Sindicalista. Aunque el actual emblema lo adoptó el frente de juventudes en 1945, su origen es muy antiguo. El cisne y el ajedrezado constituían el escudo del Cardenal Cisneros, una de las figuras más grandes de nuestra Historia...
