Español: “En el año 1938 en la Finca Fusté se construyó por orden de la administración del central Carmita una escuela de piedra con nombre “Fusté”, bonito trabajo de cantería realizado por varios obreros del central. Esta era una escuela cívico militar, y fue donada por el arrendatario Senador Germán López al Coronel Batista.
Con el triunfo de la revolución la escuela se dedica a la enseñanza primaria de los niños del poblado de Fusté, mantiene la misma construcción de piedra y cambia su nombre a "Tony Alomá". Cuenta con maestros especializados en la enseñanza primaria, sus aulas poseen televisores para observar los programas televisivos que se imparten a nivel nacional y videos para apoyar la docencia, también tiene un laboratorio de computación.” - EcuRed |
