Català: Escut d'Agost (l'Alacantí, País Valencià) ornamentat: «Escut en camper de gules, amb una ona vertical d'argent [en realitat, d'atzur] acostada a dreta i a esquerra de dues torres o castells d'or, aclarides de sable i maçonada la destra, la sinistra demolida, i les lletres A a destra i T a sinistra. Per timbre, corona oberta. El tot envoltat per fulles d'acant» (blasonament de Ramón Gimeno). Els colors són els que hi apareixen al annex IV del Decret 72/2015, de 15 de maig. S'ha substituït l'or (metàl·lic) per groc (no metal·lic).
Español: Escudo de Agost (Alicante, España) ornamentado: «Escudo en campo de gules, con una onda vertical de plata [en realidad, de azur] acostada a derecha y a izquierda de dos torres o castillos de oro, aclaradas de sable y mazonada la diestra, la siniestra demolida, y las letras A a diestra y T a siniestra. Por timbre, corona abierta. Al todo rodeado por hojas de acanto» (blasonado de Ramón Gimeno Royo). Los colores son los que se indican en el anexo IV del Decreto 72/2015, de 15 de mayo. Se ha sustituido el oro (metálico) por amarillo (no metálico).
