| Description |
English: Esgaer-moel Woollen Mill, St Fagans Museum. This traditional woollen mill dates from 1760 and was re-erected here at St Fagans in 1952. There were no gutters on such buildings when it was built, so rain off the roof splashed up when it hit the ground, hence the muddy staining at the base of the walls. Taken on a late December afternoon, with the sun behind the building. See 1136973 for the "sunny side" and more information. |
