Description
Español: *Espada de frontón celtibérica de la Necrópolis del Val, sepultura 10, calle II (Alpanseque, Soria). Hoja ancha y con nervaduras que se halla entro de su vaina (inv. 1940/27/ALP/48). Conserva el eje del pomo: una lengüeta de bordes bicóncavos que se remata con una pieza en forma de frontón semicircular de la que se conserva la parte superior. Siglos V-IV a. C. Técnica: Hierro forjado. Longitud: 37,50 cm; anchura: 6 cm. Nº inv. 1940/27/ALP/47. Museo Arqueológico Nacional de España.
  • Vaina de espada de frontón de la Necrópolis del Val, sepultura 10, calle II (Alpanseque, Soria). Consiste en un armazón de cañas de hierro, con pasadores y dos anillas en un lado y una en el otro. Conserva dos chapas metálicas a ambos lados de la punta, alojadas en las cañas y una chapa soldada con el armazón en la parte superior de la vaina, junto a la embocadura. Dentro tiene la espada 1940/27/ALP/47. Técnica. Hierro forjado. Siglos V-IV a. C. Longitud: 33 cm; anchura: 6 cm. Anilla: diámetro: 2,10 cm. Contera de vaina: anchura: 3,50 cm. Placa de vaina: longitud: 10 cm. Nº inv. 1940/27/ALP/48.
