Description

Un monumento con gran significado histórico para el pueblo de Bensafrim, concello de Lagos, en Algarve (Portugal). La "Estela" es una réplica del original que se encuentra en el Museo Municipal de Figueira da Foz.

Ao ilustre Rabedd, muy nobre e honrado Konii.

Ele repartiu os seus bens, suas herdades de lavoura, todas por nós seus concidadãos da área de Bensafrim, quando ele sentiu a aproximação de sua morte.

Foi sempre muy estimado e respeitado pela sua reputação de bom homem.

Quando do Seu enterro, nós o Povo Konii reunimos a redor de sua última morada, num acto de celebração solene de despedida, àquele que na realidade foi um verdadeiro ¡herói! e, lhe dedicámos este Heroun em agradecimento, como um monumento perpetuo em sua memória.

E conforme o costume da tradição o colocámos ao alto na cabeceira de sua sepultura e enfeitada com dois ramos de palmas, como normalmente é posto a todos os consagrados ilustres homens e guerreiros peninsulares. Comunidade Konii Proto-histórica de Bensafrim.

Monumento dedicado à memória de Rabedd, inaugurado a 23 de Junho de 2003. Estiveram presentes neste acto solene sua Excelência o Secretário do Ministério da Cultura Portuguesa, o Governador Civil da Cidade de Faro ( sua Excelência José Valentim Rosado ), o Presidente do Concelho da Cidade de Lagos, e outras personalidades da cultura portuguesa. <a href="http://fisterras.soios.com/conios/bensafrim_pt.php" rel="nofollow">fisterras.soios.com/conios/bensafrim_pt.php</a>
