Summary
editDescriptionEstradiol levels after injections of estradiol, estradiol benzoate, estradiol valerate, and estradiol undecylate in women.png |
English: Estradiol levels (pg/mL) following a short intravenous infusion of 20.0 mg estradiol in 4 mL propylene glycol and 50 mL human albumin aqueous solution or a gluteal intramuscular injection of 27.6 mg estradiol benzoate, 26.2 mg estradiol valerate, or 32.2 mg estradiol undecylate in 4 mL oil solution in 3 postmenopausal women each. The doses were selected to be equimolar and hence to each deliver the same amount of estradiol. Analytic method for estradiol determinations was radioimmunoassay (RIA).
