Português: Estudo de figuras humanas para a tela "Cortes Constituintes de 1821" de Veloso Salgado. As duas personagens são o Marquês de Ponte de Lima (à esquerda, tem o rosto glabro, o cabelo escuro, curto, levemente ondulado, puxado para a frente, recortando a orelha, e patilha (suíça) curta e veste casaco escuro, camisa com colarinho claro, subido, entreaberto, com gravata) e o Marechal José de Vasconcelos de Sá (à direita, tem o cabelo grisalho claro, curto, levemente ondulado, puxado para trás, tapando a orelha, encosta a cabeça na mão esquerda, e veste farda de militar com divisas e galões dourados).
English: Study of human figures for the painting "The Constituent Courts of 1821", by Veloso Salgado. The two characters are the Marquis of Ponte de Lima (to the left, with shaven face, dark short hair and a short sideburn, dark coat and white dress-shirt with upturned collar and a necktie) and Marshal José de Vasconcelos de Sá (to the right, with short, slightly wavy, grey hair, slicked back covering his ear, with his left hand supporting his head, and wearing a military uniform with golden trimmings).
