Description
The barque Casma was built in 1869 by W.H. Potter & Co., Liverpool for Boadle & Co. (Yard no. 23). From 1879 to 1885 owned by Isaac Coleman of Ponsonby and still registered in Liverpool. In 1889 sold to Barkskibet Casmas Rederi A/S, Nordby, Denmark, headed by Peder Nielsen Winther. In 1905 sold to Thomas Berg of Stavanger, Norway. Lost in a storm at Casablanca in February 1914.
