Description
English: Detail of folio 43 verso of Codex Telleriano-Remensis, a 16th-century Mexican manuscript, showing events which occurred in Mexico throughout the years of 1516 to 1518. The Nahuatl glyphs depict the death of Nezahualpilli, ruler of Texcoco, in the year 11 reed (1516), the mobilization of Huexotzinca warriors in 12 house (1517), and the final defeat of Huexotzinco in a war against Tenochtitlan, de facto capital of the Triple Alliance (the Mexica or Aztec Empire), in the year 13 rabbit (1518). The Spanish text stops right after the word "Año" ("Year").

Los glifos nahuas muestran la muerte de Nezahualpilli, gobernante de Texcoco, en el año 11 carrizo (1516), la movilización de guerreros huexotzincas en 12 casa (1517), y la última derrota sufrida por Huexotzinco en una guerra contra Tenochtitlan, capital de facto de la Triple Alianza (el Imperio mexica o azteca), en el año 13 conejo (1518). El texto en español se detiene justo después de la palabra "Año".
