Description
English: In spring the Fallas are celebrated in Valencia. Festival declared by UNESCO intangible heritage of humanity. Large papier-mâché monuments are created where the current events of the city are exposed in a humorous way. To later burn them according to tradition.The tradition begins in the eighteenth century. Then the carpenters of the city celebrated their patron, San José, in March by burning the leftover wood from their workshops in the streets. Little by little the party grew until it reached today. Las Fallas are a great spectacle of color, light, fire, sound, costumes, ......... It is worth coming and seeing
Español: En primavera se celebran las Fallas en Valencia. Fiesta declarada por la UNESCO patrimonio inmaterial de la humanidad. Se crean grandes monumentos de cartón piedra donde se exponen de forma humorística la actualidad de la ciudad. Para luego quemarlos según la tradición. La tradición comienza en el siglo XVIII. Entonces los carpinteros de la ciudad celebraban en marzo a su patrón, San José, quemando en las calles la madera sobrante de sus talleres. Poco a poco la fiesta fue creciendo hasta llegar al día de hoy. Las Fallas son un gran espectáculo de color, luz, fuego, sonido, disfraces,......... Merece la pena venir y verlas

The Fallas of Valencia are a street party, where the joy of the beginning of spring is lived and shared and as a good Mediterranean country we do it in a big way with a waste of color, noise, fire, crafts, gastronomy..... ....A show within everyone's reach
