Description
Deutsch: Hauptevolutionslinien des Tierreiches ausgehend von dem hypothetischen Vorläufer aller vielzelligen Tiere: die Gallertige. Es handelt sich hierbei um Organismen mit einem durch kollagene Fasern intern kompartimentierten Körper, der außen von einer cilienbesetzten Zellschicht umgeben ist. Durch den Körper verlaufen ebenfalls cilienbesetze Kanäle. Die Körperform und der Verlauf der Kanäle, sowie die mechanischen Notwendigkeiten bestimmen und ermöglichen die Differenzierung in nur wenige Hauptlinien: flache Formen, kompakte Formen mit Cilienantrieb, sessile Formen und frei schwimmende Formen. Von diesen ausgehend differenzieren sich alle weiteren Evolutionslinien des Tierreiches.
