Description
Español: La fundación de este amplio conjunto se efectuó hacia el año de 1596 y la obra del templo se concluyó alrededor del año de 1660. Su fachada es de sencillas proporciones, de estilo barroco y en su interior se conservan vestigios de la obra del siglo XVI, en la bóveda con nervaduras. En la antesacristía y la sacristía, conserva un bello juego de lavamanos realizados en piedra tallada, uno de ellos con bellas tarjas de azulejo de estilo Talavera, de Puebla. El claustro anexo se concluyó en 1604 y tuvo varios usos que lo arruinaron en gran parte, aunque hoy se encuentra remodelado y es sede del Centro Cultural Hidalgo.
