(Picture Above) Executive Safety Leadership Workshop for All DISCOs: The Power Distribution Program organized a workshop on “Executive Safety Leadership”, designed to help DISCO senior management align its safety vision, energize commitment and involvement, and set the stage for rolling out an effective safety improvement system within DISCOs. Participants gained a better understanding of the conditions and methods required for the implementation of a strong, effective and the ongoing safety management efforts within organizations. The workshop also covered how to align learning and development strategies with business objectives. Providing relevant training that suits DISCO employees’ needs, organizational culture and company’s business goals helps to increase safety awareness and improve safety culture amongst senior managers.
