This exercise was conducted in conjunction with the Dog shot from Operation Buster-Jangle. Deutsch: Operation Buster - Dog: Insgesamt 2796 Soldaten beobachten im Rahmen des Manövers „Desert Rock I“ die Explosion. Auf dem Bild beobachten Soldaten der U.S. Army 11th Airborne Division die radioaktive Wolke aus knapp 11 Kilometern Entfernung. 8 Minuten nach der Explosion erreichte die Wolke eine Höhe von 14 Kilometern. |
